Customers can authenticate a bearing in three different ways using the anti-counterfeit app and label that NTN unveiled in 2017:

With a magnifying glass, one can make out white micro-characters repeating the NTN name on the blue label band. These features should be clearly defined and finely drawn on genuine NTN bearings.
On the portion of the label with the white background, there are blue micro-characters randomly positioned among the blue circles that are invisible to the unaided eye. These letters are clearly defined and strongly drawn on authentic NTN items.
On one label's border is a hologram with strips that are arranged diagonally and have the letters NTN constantly flowing along the strips. When the label is rotated 90 degrees, the letters on items turn from black to white and vice versa.
NTN has also created the AuthentiBear application, which helps buyers evaluate whether bearings are authentic NTN bearings by scanning the given QR code. The customers can get the AuthentiBear app from the Apple or Google Play Store.
